Welcome to Scotland's Premier Therapy and Holistic Personal Development Site'Therapeutic care & Personal Development - The solution to your problems is in you'Life Coaching Glasgow, Falkirk and EdinburghChoice of Male or Female accredited Life Coach! Life Coaching is often portrayed as a wonderful "cure all" that is supposed to be able to fix almost anything! Unfortunately despite the misleading claims of some high pressure sales types, it is not quite so magical. Life Coaching is however a highly effective form of training orientated self help and therapy. It belongs to the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy school of training and therapy. Both coaches have externally accredited awards in coaching to recognised national standards (from Qualification and Curriculum Authority recognised awarding bodies) and are fellows of the Society of Holistic Therapists anc Coaches.Life Coaching combines:
Life Coaching is sometimes used as a response to issues that have arisen. Ideally it should be used by anyone under pressure, stress or with a "lot on their plates" as a proactive support system before problems arise.
Life coaching is effective for a range of issues including:
In summary Life Coaching is not some "wonder method". It is a combination of tried and tested tools and methods from a range of training and therapy sources. When put together it enables you to make the best of what you have, and to get more where possible. Be proactiveIf you have a lifestyle that is challenging or stressful, or if you simply feel under pressure, it makes sense to have life coaching support on a regular basis, perhaps one session per one or two months. This provides support and a way of "off loading", as well as providing an opportunity to have proactive responses to problems.
Life Coaching is at it's most effective when clients engage in sessions early on, preventing issues from arising, or to maximise performance before problems can become entrenched. We have City
Centre bases in Edinburgh and
Glasgow and we are
considering expanding into other cities shortly. We are complementary health
practitioners,
not alternative health practitioners. This means that we work WITH the
medical profession. If you have an illness or injury, or if you are
going to embark on a new diet, fitness plan or if you have any
uninvestigated symptoms, you must consult your medical doctor. Stuart personally has completed ASET
awards including ASET
Level 3 Life
Skills
Coaching and an NVQ
C25 Coaching
Unit as well as a full NVQ Level 4 in Training and Development. He has
a MSc Psychology.
In a
pastoral or spiritual context he has also been awarded a Doctorate
(D.Phil) in (Pastoral) Life Coaching from the Interfaith Seminary which
was awarded following submission of comprehensive writings and course
materials over a number of years. These course materials and writings
have been published in another format in the UK as externally
accredited practitioner training programmes (leading to certification
by a QCA approved awarding body). Denise has completed extensive counselling and life coaching training and holds an ASET Level 4 in Advanced Life coaching.
In the first instance drop us an email or use the feedback form to contact us. We can then advise whether we feel we can appropriately assist you.
